Keira’s Journey to a Healthier Life: Our Namesake Pup Is on a Diet!

Here at Keira’s Doghouse, our beloved namesake, Keira the Rottweiler, has always been the heart and soul of our brand. With her big, goofy smile and endless enthusiasm, she’s the reason we do what we do. But lately, we’ve noticed that our girl has been carrying a few extra pounds—and we want to help her get back to her happiest, healthiest self!

Why Keira’s Going on a Diet

Like many dogs, Keira loves her treats (maybe a little too much). Between sneaky snack-sharing and those irresistible puppy-dog eyes, her weight has slowly crept up. While she’s still full of love and energy, we know that maintaining a healthy weight is key to a long, active life—especially for big breeds like Rottweilers.

So, we’re making some changes! We’ve consulted with her vet, adjusted her portion sizes, and swapped some high-calorie treats for healthier options. We’re also ramping up her exercise with longer walks and more playtime.
